We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Mural Wonder.

Privacy & Safety

At Mural Wonder, we understand the importance of protecting your personal information. We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to ensure that your data is safe and secure. We do not share your information with third parties, except as required by law. When you purchase Mural Wonder, we collect the information necessary to process your order, including your name, billing address, shipping address, and payment information. We use this information solely to fulfil your order and communicate with you about your purchase.

Ordering

We strive to assist you in selecting the perfect mural, making the ordering process straightforward. Our mural designs are available in three different materials: standard, premium and peel-and-stick. If the desired size is unavailable, send us a message with the name of the mural design and your custom measurements. Every order includes glue and installation instructions for your convenience.

Measurement 

Determining the dimensions of your walls is a simple process—measure the width and height in either centimetres or inches. To account for potential variations in your walls, we suggest adding 10 centimetres or 4 inches to these measurements when placing your order. This additional allowance serves as a trim to accommodate any discrepancies.

Delivery

We offer free UK delivery on all our products. Delivery time ranges from 3 to 6 working days, depending on location. Please note that we are not liable for any delays caused by the logistics company. In case the package is visibly damaged, kindly refuse to accept it if possible. Damaged packages are eligible for a refund or exchange; please refer to our return policy for details.

Installation

                Pre-Installation Inspection

Before scheduling a decorator or attempting self-installation, thoroughly inspect your mural. We disclaim responsibility for any installation costs incurred by you or third parties. If you identify any issues before installation, promptly contact us so that we can address and rectify them.

 

                Preparing a mural

Before you start applying your mural, unpack and lay it with the printed side upwards on a dry, clean and flat surface. Make sure that the product is not faulty or damaged. If a mural consists of multiple parts, make sure that the design aligned.

                How to prepare a surface?

The walls must be clean and dry. Any wall defects should be filled in. We advise to remove any protruding parts like skirting boards, nails, screws, switches and power sockets. In case of new walls, walls covered with plaster, drywall or other absorptive materials, you must prime them before application.

                What kind of glue to use?

1. If Metylan Direct glue (purple packaging) was sent with your order, please use it according to the manufacturer's instructions that can be found on the package.

2. If Classic glue (white packaging) was sent with your order, please use it by the following directions: grammage 70g, amount of water 1.75 litres, capacity 10 square meters

Pour the glue powder into cold water (see table for proportions) and stir it vigorously. While pouring, keep the package near the water surface. Set the mixture aside for 3 minutes, stir again and leave it again for 15 minutes.

Before use, stir the glue again.

                How to apply murals?

1. When the wall is ready, use a plumb line or a spirit to lightly draw vertical guidelines with a pencil and mark where the edge of the mural will be.

2. Lay out the mural on a clean, dry surface (best covered with newspapers, painting foil, etc).

3. Mix and prepare the glue (mural glue should be used in accordance with the producer’s recommendations).

4. The adhesive should only be applied to the wall surface. We do not recommend applying glue to the wallpaper.

5. Start applying the mural next to the window’s edge and keep applying the rest of the elements along the line marked with the plumb. Do not apply the entire mural at once. The stripes of the mural should be applied from the top of the wall.

6. Any possible air bubbles created during the application process can be removed by carefully smoothing out the surface with a wallpaper roller or a pressure roller, by moving it from top to bottom and from the centre to the sides, making sure that the edges are properly pressed to the wall.

 

7. Mural wallpapers are divided into parts of equal width, depending on the chosen material, each part has its own number.

8. Gently remove the excess glue as soon as possible, with the use of a soft, damp rag or a sponge. Drying glue can damage the surface of a mural!

9. If your mural consists of multiple elements, follow the same procedure with the remaining parts by aligning them edge to edge.

Please note that the appearance of the mural may differ slightly from what is shown on the website after installation. This could be due to differences in resolution and settings of your device such as a smartphone, tablet, or laptop, as well as the lighting conditions during photography.

Returns, refunds and cancellation

As all our murals are crafted to your specific order, we are unable to accommodate returns.

 

Damaged packages can be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange. Photo evidence of the package's condition, along with it being unopened, is required. We will manage shipping and cover the entire return cost. Refunds will be processed to the original bank account upon completion of the return.

 

In the event of an undamaged mural being found faulty, a full refund is feasible with photo evidence, provided the mural is unused. Customers must inspect the mural's condition before installation.

 

While we cannot guarantee order cancellations, we will exert every effort to stop production upon receiving a cancellation request.
